Are there any cute animals in that movie? You turn back to the screen and frown, trying to figure out if any of it is “cute.”

So far there’s been a large creature with wings, paws, a mane, and a beak, a few hoofbeasts, a lot of confusing creatures you don’t think can be classified as animals, and a falcon with silver wings.

You shut off your computer and go back to the movie, rewinding it so it’s at the beginning. That only took five minutes. WOW were you bored of that movie.

Stopping at the bottom of the tree, you blink. How do you get up there again..?

It’s tiring but you manage it.

There she is! You trip over a scalemate to let her in. Stupid Professor Pucefoot. What were you doing on the floor? You kick him to the side and open the door.

“Nepeta!” You give her a good lick on the cheek. She tastes mildly like cream and berries. “Hehehe.” You invite her in and shut the door. “The movie really is terrible,” you repeat, making a face nothing short of disgusting, “Humans have short attention spans and make a lot of plot holes.”

You burst in all happy and “Meow”-ing and almost tackle her to the floor in you excitement “Movie niiiight~!” You purr, giving your friend a lick back because you are a cat and that is what cats do.

“Vriska’s coming too?” You ask happily, then paws— pause, “…I hope she isn’t mean…again…”

 > Terezi: Share concern with Nepeta

“She better not,” you say with a sigh. “I’ll just kick her out if she is.” Your concern is quickly forgotten, however, when you think how long it’ll take Vriska to join you and your kitty-friend.

> Terezi: Suggest a game

“Want to play a game while we wait?”

>Nepeta: Get distracted by pretty hive

So many colours!

You quickly become distracted by how pretty this hive is, meaning you take much longer than it should have to answer your friend’s question.
The mention of a “game” makes your ears prick up though.

“Oh yeah! Sure! What do you want to play?” You grin happily.

 > Terezi: make shit up as you go along

“Uhm…” You try to think of something. You suddenly remember you kicked Professor Pucefoot. “Oh, no! Professor Pucefoot is in critical condition! Nurse Nepeta! We must prepare the patient for immediate surgery!” You have been meaning to fix a popped seam on him for a while, anyway.

You point dramatically at the scalemate, who’s lying on his side in absolute pain and suffering. His groans and cries of terror as he clings desperately to his poor life is absolutely too much to handle! Oh, Professor Pucefoot, what will happen if you die?! What of your colleagues, your job? What of your family?

Your sewing kit couldn’t have gone far, you’ve just used it recently.

Oh no! Not Professor Pucefoot! Quick as a flash he is on the operating table.
“Doctor Terezi! He’s fading fast!” You cry, patting his forehead with a damp cloth to keep the fever at bay.
